The psychology of LGBTQ people
Some people who have same-sex attractions or relationships identified as Queer. Gay, lesbian or bisexual people are 10 times likely to experience discrimination based on sexual orientation as compared to heterosexual people. Mistreatment comes in many forms from insults, physical violence and unequal treatment.
Their home rejected them as 50% of LGBT teens experience a negative reagtion fron their parents and 30% experience physical abuse and 26% are kicked out of their homes, 40% LGBT children were homeless(rejected by their families) getting bullying of LGBT children in school and harassment often turns violent: 40% physical bullying and 19% report being physically assaulted at school because of sexual orientation almost of them increased risk for suicide attempts.
